1. Non-Refundable Booking Advance Policy
All booking amounts, token advances, and mobilization deposits paid to Kumar Sports are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE once received.
Sports infrastructure and civil turnkey construction are highly customized engineering projects. Payment of the booking advance constitutes an irrevocable commitment by the Client authorizing Kumar Sports to immediately commit resources, schedule manpower, and lock in raw materials specifically tailored to the project.
2. Technical & Commercial Justification
Unlike retail goods, sports court engineering involves custom-fabricated, site-specific investments that cannot be re-stocked, reversed, or returned to suppliers without severe financial loss:
- Custom Factory Turf Cutting: Artificial grass turf (50mm–60mm FIFA-grade football turf or 15mm–25mm box cricket turf) is manufactured and precision-cut to the specific dimensions of the Client's court or cage footprint. Once unrolled and cut at the factory, rolls cannot be restocked or returned.
- Specialized Chemical Batching: Synthetic acrylic resins, polyurethane cushion primers, and EPDM rubber granules are color-matched and chemically formulated specifically for the contract's climate exposure and ITF/BWF pace classification.
- Immediate Civil Engineering Allocation: Upon booking confirmation, our civil engineers, topographical surveyors, and CAD draftsmen are deployed to site for slope gradient analysis, sub-base compaction testing, and stormwater drainage modeling.
- Logistics & Freight Commitments: Heavy freight vehicle slots and mechanical laser screeds / road rollers are locked in advance across our supply corridors in Bihar, Jharkhand, UP, and West Bengal.
3. Project Cancellation & Milestone Settlement
In the event that the Client elects to terminate or cancel a contracted project prior to completion, the following settlement guidelines strictly apply:
The initial booking/token advance remains 100% non-refundable. If the Client has deposited funds in excess of the mandatory booking advance, any uncommitted residual balance (less site survey expenses, CAD design fees, and non-cancellable factory deposits) will be calculated and refunded within 30 banking days.
Once excavation, WBM stone aggregate laying, PCC/VDF concrete casting, or on-site delivery of turf rolls and chemical barrels has occurred, no refunds whatsoever are permissible. The Client shall remain liable for all work executed and materials delivered as verified by joint site measurement.
4. Inapplicability of Product Returns
Because sports court surfaces (multi-layer synthetic acrylics, full-pour PU, interlocking tiles, hardwood maple sub-floors, and turf with silica/rubber infill) become an integral part of the immovable civil real estate upon installation, physical return of installed sports surfaces is technically impossible.
5. Defect Rectification Guarantee (In Lieu of Return)
To ensure total customer satisfaction, Kumar Sports replaces product returns with our comprehensive On-Site Defect Rectification Guarantee:
- Pre-Handover Snag Rectification: Before project handover, our engineers conduct a joint walk-through inspection with the Client. Any surface irregularities, seam imperfections, line-marking deviations, or drainage ponding exceeding ITF/FIFA tolerances will be rectified immediately at zero additional cost.
- Warranty Defect Rectification: If any manufacturing defect, surface debonding, or premature fiber degradation occurs during the warranty period under normal athletic use, Kumar Sports dispatches our applicators to repair or re-coat the affected zone free of charge.
